The Sonora Pass and SR 120 into Yosemite have re-opened!

On June 9, 2023 Caltrans opened up the Sonora Pass for travel. There is still a ton of snow at the top so please drive with caution when traveling over the pass.

SR 120 just inside Yosemite National Park was also opened on June 9th. This highway was closed temporarily due to a sink hole caused by the massive storms that Tuolumne County received this winter. The highway is one lane only through the construction zone.
